Overview
TRANSFAC®은 현재까지 연구된 전사인자(transcription factor)들의 binding site들을 수집한 데이터베이스로서 전문가의 리뷰를 통해 얻어진 positional weight matrices를 제공하여 유전자 조절 기작에 대한 총체적이고 다양한 정보를 제공합니다. 또한 positional weight matrices를 기본으로 한 high-throughput 데이터의 프로모터 분석 및 pathway 분석을 ExPlainTM과 연계하여 함께 분석할 수 있습니다.
